Gen Why Media specializes in new forms of public participation and cross-generational dialogue.

With a dynamic slate of engagement methods, we move between online and offline spaces in order to create meaningful public interactions and achieve specific goals related to social, political and cultural issues.

We work with a diverse community of artists, activists, designers, coders, students, academics and engaged community members to create unique campaigns and inspiring projects.

Some of our favourite past initiatives include crowd-sourcing ideas for affordable housing, community building through participatory art-making, telling stories about movements, hosting parties around elections or re-imagining the CBC.
