This cross-stitching workshop brings people together in the Tin Can Studio (mobile art studio) to stitch powerful slogans on to fabric while learning new craftivism skills and hanging out with people in your community. These assertive wall hangings serve as elegant reminders for political action in daily life and also make great gifts!

We’ll also be showcasing stories of civic engagement with outdoor projections as part of the 150 Years Young project.

When: June 29th, 8:30pm – 11pm
Where: Vanier Park near the Maritime Museum (1905 Ogden Avenue)

The workshop is run on a non-stop basis, you can come and go as you like. All materials will be provided. FREE.
